Leeds Art Gallery has been described as ‘Probably the best collection of twentieth century British art outside London' (John Russell Taylor, The Times).
In 1997 the fine art collection was designated by the government as of national importance. The Gallery can boast a modern British sculpture collection second only to that of the Tate with a selection of works displayed in recently renovated gallery spaces.
Wander between galleries and see the work of well-known artists from our region and beyond including Henry Moore, Barbara Hepworth, Francis Bacon, Stanley Spencer, Walter Sickert, Bridget Riley, Grayson Perry and Antony Gormley.
Break up your visit by taking time out in the stunning Victorian Tiled Hall Café, and visit the large gallery shop and the café Brewbar on the lower ground floor.

Times and prices are subject to change. Contact venue before setting out.
