Sessional Volunteer Support Worker

A rewarding role coordinating volunteering opportunities amongst adults from disadvantaged and vulnerable backgrounds, including unemployed people, adults with learning difficulties and mental ill health, and supporting them to learn key social and employment skills in order to play a more active role in the community through volunteering.
You will need:
•Experience of working with vulnerable adults
•Experience of facilitating groups and forums
•Knowledge of the Health and Social Care sector
•Excellent oral and written communication skills
•Knowledge of health and safety, data protection, confidentiality and safeguarding
•Experience of using Microsoft office – Word, Excel, Powerpoint, other databases
•Self-organised, motivated and ability to work independently in a changing environment
