Join in a celebration of harvest and the traditional rural life of the village of Welbourn! Taking place all around the village, in the Village Hall, St Chad's Church, the Primary School, the Old Forge and the old Co-Operative shop. Attractions will include heritage-inspired artworks created by professional artists and students of Welbourn primary school, a display of historical, agricultural machinery, the opening of the old Forge and Co-operative shop, a procession from the primary school to the church and live traditional music!
A hog roast will be available alongside an artisan bread stall with a cake sale at the Village Hall. There will also be a bake-off competition judging three categories- Apple Pie, Plaited Loaf and a Horkey Cake. Entrants must bring their bakes to the Village Hall at 9:30-10:30am.
Come along for this free, community run event, designed for a fun and educational day celebrating the rural history of the village of Welbourn!
