This Saturday in St Helens there's a great children's show at the Citadel Arts Centre – How to Catch a Star, based on the much-loved book by Oliver Jeffers.

The show is on at 11.30am and 2.30pm, and lasts around one hour. It tells the story of a boy who loved stars so much he decided to try to catch one ... but first he had to think of a plan. You'll be able to watch him make an incredible journey across land, sea and skies in his search for a very special starry friend.

The show brings the book to life on the stage with music, puppets and storytelling. It's a wonderful, funny and gentle show for children aged 3 to 7, and is sure to captivate all grown–ups who've ever gazed in wonder at the stars.
