Winter Wonderland Manchester is the most magical Christmas adventure and this year, the event is delighted to welcome the nation's favourite fox – Basil Brush!
The foxy character will be the special guest star of Manchester's biggest Indoor Christmas attraction which returns for the fourth year from Saturday, 10th December 2016 to Sunday 1st January 2017.
The mammoth exhibition space at EventCity will be transformed in to an unbelievable wonderland extravaganza, featuring over 50 family rides and attractions all under one roof – with new rides for 2016 including a giant Carousel, and all included in one ticket price.
As well as the rides and the bright lights, there will be a dazzling array of colourful shows. Come and see naughty uncontrollable Basil, along with his chum Mr Matt who will together take you on a journey of laughter and song, in a show packed with fun and excitement. A show for all the family, come and join in the mayhem. In Basil's own words…"Boom Boom!"

If the winter wonderland was to be summed up in one word, it would be magical. As soon as we walked in there was snow falling and the excitement on my children's faces (age 9 and 3) was beautiful.
Once inside there was lots to do! Rides for children of all ages to keep them entertained. There's “Dumbo” which was a personal favourite and lots of other Disney based rides. As well as rides, there were plenty of fun houses, such as “santas post office”. This was perfect for burning off loads of energy.
Food and drinks are reasonably priced, however some of the stalls such as the hook a duck are quite expensive. Prizes are won every time.
The basil brush show was particularly entertaining! It was quite interactive and included super soaking the children and audience members, which of course the children enjoyed.
I would highly recommend the winter wonderland for adults as well as children, it truly was magical and really added to getting in the festive spirit!
