‘HAVE YOU EVER WONDERED IF THE WORLD YOU LIVE IN IS THE RIGHT KIND OF WORLD?'

Olivier nominated winner of the Ian Charleson Award actor CUSH JUMBO stars in a brand new production of Ibsen's groundbreaking and most notorious play A DOLL'S HOUSE.

Nora Helmer's respectable middle class life, married to banker Torvald is blown apart when secrets from her past threaten the status quo. Suddenly, everything she took for granted about her life and her marriage is thrown into question.

Written in 1879, A DOLL'S HOUSE was controversial because of its groundbreaking attitude towards women, and its ‘shocking' ending. One of the most performed plays in the world, the questions it asks are still incredibly relevant: What does it mean to love someone?; What exactly is expected of a partner in a marriage?; Is breaking out the same as breaking up?
