    23-Mar-2015 Report

I've spoken to Carol, Senior Brand Manager, and Tracy, the manager at the local Wacky Warehouse, about the party, the host, the payment and we've sorted out the confusion. The party took place yesterday, we had the face painting, party host, the balloons, etc. The party host was very helpfull and friendly. The kids we happy, full of pizza and ice-cream, painted into butterflies, zombies, flowers, tigers and snakes. Because the party took place in the evening it wasn't too busy in the soft play. There was enough staff to look after the kids, make the party room looking good with all the Frozen plates and cups we brought and to make the drinks for the adults.

    16-Mar-2015 Report

I booked my daughter's birthday party at Wacky Warehouse above Kiss me Hardy in Colliers Wood. I spoke to the stuff at the Wacky, read everything online and booked party+ balloons +face-painting. When I called the Wacky later to increase the number of children coming to the party they told me that I also need to pay for the host if I want to have face-painting. When I said that I already paid in full and that noone told me about any extra costs when I came to discuss the party at the Wacky and there was no warning about it when I booked/paid online - I was told that this is the rule of this Wacky Warehouse and I should either pay extra £15 pounds or I can't have the face-painting (which I already paid for). I left a complain at the Wacky Warehouse website. I have a feeling that they just want to get extra money from me given the party is in a week time and I won't be able to find another place... Then manager of the Colliers Wood Wacky called me couple of days later. She said the same thing, that I can't have face painting I already paid for at my daughter's birthday party unless I also pay for the party host. She said that when I paid for face painting online it wasn't the face painting I paid for, something along the lines that I paid for having it in safe-environment... and it's the party host who does the painting... and unless I pay for party host they are not going to cut/serve the cake, they won't help me with food, etc... It all sounds like a blackmail/bullying to me. I have a discusting feeling about this place already and thinking where else I can have my party.
