  The Royal Ballet School is delighted to invite young dancers aged between 8-10 at 31st August 2013 (currently in Years 3, 4 and 5) to attend a special event at the Sage Academy of Performing Arts in Byker, Newcastle-upon-Tyne to experience a typical Royal Ballet School Junior Associate lesson. Dance teachers and parents are invited to observe throughout the day and attend Question and Answer sessions with members of the Associate Staff. Head of Outreach and Teacher Training, Mark Annear, comments: ‘Part of our nationwide Outreach Programme, these sessions give young dancers a real taste of what to expect from the expert weekly training they would receive as Royal Ballet School Junior Associates. The Royal Ballet School is always seeking new ways of reaching out to even more aspiring young dancers and these sessions aim to achieve this in the North East.'
