Penguin Waddle for Richard House!

Borough wide

disabled access

We are delighted to announce that our annual Penguin Waddle returns Tuesday 15th November!

We have an exciting new iconic route and we hope you will join us again with friends, colleagues and family as we waddle through central London during the festive period dressed as penguins and raise vital funds for East London's Children's Hospice!
We will commence our waddle at 6:30pm in the shadow of the great St. Paul's Cathedral having gathered in Paternoster Square. We will then proceed to Millennium Bridge, crossing the River Thames to the beautiful Southbank. After passing the iconic Tate Modern Gallery, we make a nod to the historic Shakespeare's Globe and see Sir Francis Drake's Golden Hinde. Our waddle then meanders through atmospheric Tooley Street and past HMS Belfast. We then make our way towards our finish line at The Scoop, next to City Hall where we can all celebrate at our Penguin Party in front of the historic Tower Bridge! The route is accessible and covers 2km.
