Practical Parenting Skills

After doing this course, you will have a clear framework which will help you identify which communication skill to use and when. You'll develop your active listening skills, which will help you to support your child with identifying and solving their own problems. You'll also know more about what you need from your parenting relationship; and learn the skills to communicate this clearly so that your needs are met. When there is conflict, you'll learn a straighforward resolution method, which will bring win/win outcomes for parent and child. These are evidence based skills (for all ages of children), that work, giving you more time to enjoy your family.

Courses are run on Tuesdays (8x Tues, 10am-1pm) and Saturdays (4 x Sats, 9.30am-4.30pm). Dates on the website.

“It has helped in more areas of my life than just parenting my daughters. Work, family, marriage have all benefited” A, father of 2.
“I find it better since Mum did the course because I get a chance to speak. It's less shouty and a better way of sorting things out” F, aged 8
