Enjoy two weeks of fascinating exhibitions, hands-on family activities, inspiring celebrity talks and noisy theatrical shows at The Forum, and other venues around the city. This is a festival for all age groups and all levels of knowledge and interest, with events ranging from pre-school play sessions to evening lectures.

All manner of entertaining science-focused experiences such as exploring a scale model of the Large Hadron Collider and star-gazing in an inflatable planetarium.

No matter how old you are, or how much interest you have had in science in the past, you can be sure to find something to fascinate and inspire you, your friends and your family.

We have celebrities too! Lord Robert Winston, one of the UK's most well-known scientists, and famous for his work on human fertility, will be giving an evening talk. And make a date to meet Mark Thompson, co-presenter of BBC's Stargazing Live.
