Trues Yard Museum

King's Lynn

The North End of King's Lynn was once home to hundreds of fishermen and their families.

They lived and worked in tiny cottages, crammed into small yards.
Only two survived the slum clearances in the 1930s and 1960s and you can find them both at True's Yard Museum.
Explore the cottages, town models, galleries, fishing smack and more with our new children's trails.
Why not have a go at doing the washing - Victorian style of course - or hoist the flag on the boat (weather permitting)?
Dip into to our new dressing up box to learn more about pirates, smugglers and other characters.

The True's Yard tearoom serves a variety of cakes, snacks and refreshments. Male and female toilets, disabled toilet and baby changing room.

Times and prices are subject to change. Contact venue before setting out.
