These classes are run by Amanda Wardle from Doulala. Amanda (midwife) says: “New babies often cry lots and sleep little, sometimes parents don't know how to help. Many new parents lack support and understanding at a time they need it most – in the very beginning.
This workshop has been carefully designed to introduce antenatal couples to reasons why babies can be fussy, cry lots and sleep so little.
It provides help ,advice and information on different ways to calm a crying baby, prevent and help baby colic and how to maximise the amount of sleep you and your baby can get.
We discuss the benefits of ‘baby wearing' and how to swaddle and whether it may be suitable for you.
You will leave feeling more confident as a new parent to be, and have lots of ideas to put into practise should you need them once your baby is born.”
