A two-day event showcasing the iconic British Nuffield tractors, plus crawlers great and small and ‘100 Years of Tractors' – from veteran engines to modern day tractors.
New for 2013 is the March of the Tractors. Starting at 5.30pm on On Saturday 8 June, vintage engines will parade from Newby Hall to Ripon's historic market square. Ripon city centre will join in the celebrations by staying open into the evening which will culminate in the assembled tractors being sent on their way back to Newby Hall by the Ripon Hornblower at 9pm.
The Dean of Ripon, the Very Reverend Keith Jukes will bless some tractors outside Ripon Cathedral.
Also featuring working machinery, tractor rides, cars and trucks, interactive exhibits and the ‘Dancing Does' tractor troupe, as well as food stalls and trade stands. The show will fly the flag for Morris Motors and Petter barn engines.
