On 11th December 1963 the “new” Nottingham Playhouse opened at Wellington Circus with a production of Coriolanus, directed by Sir Tyrone Guthrie and starring John Neville, Ian McKellen, Leo McKern and Michael Crawford.
Exactly 50 years later we will celebrate this historic building with a very special gala performance of Jack & the Beanstalk. And it's not just the building that is celebrating an anniversary – OH NO! – it will also be Kenneth Alan Taylor's 30th pantomime as writer and director!
The pantomime gala performance will be a sensational night to remember – a truly sparkling evening with champagne, canapés, guests and surprises.
11 December at 6.30pm with the performance starting at 7.30pm
