Our Supportive Environment Screenings are for children on the autism spectrum and their families, friends and carers.
Children with autism are sensitive to sound and light and they can find going to the cinema stressful. So, during Supportive Environment Screenings, low lights are left on in the auditorium and the volume of the soundtrack is reduced. And it's fine for customers to move around, make noise or take a break during the film.
Swallows and Amazons (PG)
When their mother gives them permission to camp on a remote island in the middle of a lake, the Walker children are overjoyed. But when they get there they soon discover they may not be alone. The classic novel ‘Swallows and Amazons' comes to life in this new charmingly old-fashioned adaption.
