West Bridgford Library and Young People's Centre re-opened, after a major re-development, in 2013. Parking is at the adjacent Bridgford Road car park and the library is on many bus routes.

The library offers frequent events, for children and adults. Regular activities, all free, include:

Rattle, rhyme and roll - every Friday in term time at 10.00 and 11.00. Tickets are required for adults and available 15 minutes before each session.

Storyhullabaloo - every Tuesday in term time at 10.00. Tickets are required for adults and available 15 minutes before each session.

The library takes part in the Bookstart scheme and runs the 'Summer Reading Challenge' aimed at 4-11 year olds.

West Bridgford Library also hosts a young people's centre with a wide range of events taking place throughout the week.
