This production of Ibsen's masterpiece is inspired by the artist Edvard Munch's extraordinary stage designs for the play seen only once in 1906.
English Touring Theatre's recent visits to the Playhouse include The Sacred Flame and Roger McGough's acclaimed adaptation of Moliere's The Misanthrope. Stephen Unwin, the outgoing director of the Rose Theatre Kingston, is widely regarded as one of the country's finest directors of Ibsen.
