    21-Sep-2015 Report

DH and I went to Bluestone for a child free weekend break. It is set in the beautiful Pembrokeshire countryside in a peaceful woodland setting with luxury wooden lodges. There were so many things on offer for little and larger children that we felt a bit guilty for leaving ours with grandparents! None the less the lie in with the lake view and bunnies outside the window was wonderful! The onsite Blue Lagoon is fantastic - it is a huge indoor pool with flumes and a wave machine to keep everyone happy whatever the weather. We were lucky enough to have some September sunshine and went to the beautiful seaside town of Tenby which is nearby and well worth a visit with its quaint multicoloured houses and the famous grand designs lighthouse!
The lodge had a TV, dishwasher and all mod cons. Travel cots, changing mats and high chairs are available, as are golf buggies at the park to make your stay easier. There is a shop, a bakery and several restaurants on site. Plenty of outdoor activities are on offer including archery, high wires, woodland walks and an outdoor playground.
We will be returning at half term, with the children this time! Highly recommended!
