    09-Aug-2015 Report

I took 2 toddlers aged 3 and 1 for Sunday Lunch and it was fantastic! Very friendly staff, excellent food and lovely location, right in the centre of Oxford amongst all the lovely colleges and a short walk from the all important playground!
We were given a quiet area separate from other diners as it was quite early (12pm on the dot! feeding time) so we felt as though the children could play and be noisy without disturbing others. Even if we had been in the main part of the restaurant, there were lots of other children and the staff were very welcoming. The children had a colouring pack which kept them happy until food arrived.
The new childrens' menu was really impressive with plenty of choice for the fussy eaters amongst us! Plenty of vegetarian options: fishcakes, pasta vegetarian croquet monsieur. Lots of lovely steaks and more adventurous French cuisine for the adults. The childrens' menu comes with fougaisse and crudites as a starter - we were glad our toddlers have little appetites as we got to finish the fougaisse! Ice cream with jelly beans or popping candy, profiteroles or fresh fruit are amongst the choices for dessert. Generous portion sizes, fast service and a lovely outside patio area for summer lunches. (Lovely super food salads for Mums on diets (:() too!)
We will definitely be going back!
