If you care for children, then this is the course for you. It is ideal for professionals such as: teachers, teaching assistants, au pairs, playgroup leaders, registered childminders, and nannies.

This is a 12 hour course, usually run over two days, that is continually assessed by the trainer – so there's no formal examination at the end.

This course meets the requirements of the Early Years foundation stage statutory framework, Sure Start, OfSTED requirements for registered childminders and others working in professional childcare (eg nursery schools, schools, and the majority of organisations dealing with children of 8 years old and under), can be used in evidence for employees working towards an NVQ in Childcare and Education, and is recognised by the National Child Minding Association.
