Thames Valley Farmers' Market Co-operative is celebrating its 10th anniversary at Abingdon Farmers' Market on Friday 15 August.
Anyone wanting to know where what they buy is grown, reared, brewed, bottled, produced or baked, can go along and talk to the producers, growers and farmers on their stalls. To celebrate there will be a free prize draw to win a chocolate birthday cake and bags full of local produce and recipe cards to give away to make a special birthday meal. And Tommy the tractor will be making a special appearance for the children and will be giving away balloons.
Stallholders at the market will be selling all manner of produce including Artisan bread, cheese, home brewed Oxfordshire beer, seasonal fruit and vegetables, lamb and pork, home-made Scotch eggs, continental cakes and pastries and vegetarian treats.
