Hailey School

Hailey School is a small, friendly Church of England school set in large grounds with a family atmosphere, which is upheld by a dedicated staff team who put the interests of the individual child at the centre of everything they do. Our Nursery and Reception class provides a perfect transition for children to enter more formal schooling. Our children have the chance to learn through structured play, with individual assessment of learning needs. All our 3, 4 and 5 year olds are taught by an experienced, qualified teacher supported by experienced keyworkers. Activities are developed according to the child's stage of development, and not simply their age, and children benefit from a wide range of school resources.
We have a large outdoor area with lots of play equipment and we even have our own woodland!
An Earlybirds Club offers childcare from 8.00am and we have a range of afterschool clubs running until 4.15pm.
Our recent Ofsted Report which judged the school to be Good highlighted our excellent quality of provision:
"Pupils are proud to be members of the school and confidently state that learning at Hailey C of E Primary School is fun!" Ofsted Inspection Report, January 2016 .

    28-Apr-2016 Report

Hailey School is a lovely village school which has a really caring, community feel. Both my daughters love going there and say how friendly the other children are. The teachers go out of their way to make each child feel special.
