Hare Hatch (Wyevale) Garden Centre

Reading wide

The centre has a long and illustrious horticultural history; it began life in the 1800s as Wargrave Plant Farm and was acquired by the Waterer family in 1914. They planted great swathes of plants and trees along the A4, which became known as the 'Floral Mile', specialised in growing rare rhododendrons from America and, in the 60s, planted the rose garden at Windsor Castle, earning themselves a Royal Warrant.

We sell top quality growing stock, gardening products and garden furniture as well as birdcare products, floristry, houseplants and books. We also have a fabulous giftware and greeting card department and at Christmas, an inspiring display of decorations, lights and trees. Our restaurant sells delicious home-made food whilst our staff are friendly and helpful horticultural experts.

Features a children's soft play within the restaurant facility.
