Sheen Gate (Richmond), SW14
13-May-13 to 13-May-15
This weekend ride takes in the sights of the beautiful Surrey Hills. Starting from Sheen Gate we will make our way towards Box Hill, scene of the 2012 Olympic Road race. After taking in refreshments at the top of Box Hill we will head back towards SW14. This ride is aimed at intermediate cyclists looking to push their boundaries and get away from the hustle and bustle.
This is an "open road" ride. Whilst we will endeavour to avoid as many busy roads as possible, leaving London will involve negotiating some traffic. Participants should be able to complete 3 laps of Richmond park before joining this ride.
Unlike some of the more competitive cycle clubs our priority is ensuring no riders are ever left behind!
