Join me, Tasha, for this fun and interactive group where together we will boost your child's communication skills. It's never too young to start - all children up to 3 years can benefit from this specialist-run session.
Monday mornings at Mothercare in Kew Retail Park.
0 - 18 months 10am - 10.40am
18 months - 3 years 11am - 11.40am
The group includes games, action songs, rhymes and activities to encourage pre-verbal and verbal skills: attention and listening, turn-taking, social interaction, play, understanding and talking.
Signs for common words are used alongside spoken language. Learning signs helps children to understand words and express themselves - a great way to avoid frustration and build good relationships.

Excellent class! Tasha is excellent at engaging with children, my 2 year old son warmed to her straight away, which he rarely does. She is extremely passionate about what she does and this shows in her work. I love her methods of engaging the children, and the kids love the props and characters she uses to encourage their communication skills. I have only been to 3 classes and have already seen a significant development in my sons communication skills. He loves coming to the class every week, and looks forward to the games and tasks set by Tasha and is learning at the same time! Highly highly recommend this class. Thanks Tasha.
Brilliant class! I started attending the group from when my daughter was 16 months old and she absolutely loves it. Tasha is knowledgeable and her experience as a speech therapist is evident in the way she runs the class. Her friendly demeanour helps reach out to the children in the group. She also provides a top tip for communication at the end of each class which has really helped me communicate better with my daughter. I would highly recommend this group to other parents.
