A 0-5K Running Group!


Whether you're a complete beginner, have run before but hated it (and promptly packed up), or just need that extra push to get you from plodder to jogger, the Rookie Runners is definitely for you! We're less lycra and perfectly coifed hair and more wear-your-scruffs and make it happen. The group is designed for women of all shapes, sizes and fitness levels, who want to run at their own pace, in a friendly and non-intimidating environment. The course takes place over 10 weeks, and starts with plenty of walking – perfect for beginners and those who want to take it slow and steady and say hello to the deer in the park. By the end of the course, you'll be able to run 5 kilometres without feeling like your legs are going to fall off.
