An observer of urban life, Nicole Wermers is fascinated by subtle changes in public space and the elements of its evolving design. She is interested in how the design and arrangement of different objects (from café seating to door knobs, emergency exits, to teaspoons) have come to represent different cultures and communities. For 'The London Shape' Wermers is presenting a series of new large-scale sculptures.
