he World Rugby Museum, in the East Stand of Twickenham Stadium, formerly opened as &lsquo;The Museum of Rugby' in 1996. It became the World Rugby Museum in 2007.<br /><br />Our collection of over 25,000 objects are displayed within our permanent galleries and supplement a regular programme of special exhibitions as well as formal and informal learning programmes.<br /><br />We welcome over 25,000 visitors annually.<br /><br />Our vision is as follows:<br /><br />&ldquo;...to collect, document, interpret and exhibit the world's largest and most comprehensive collection of rugby football memorabilia.&rdquo;<br /><br />Our mission statement is:<br /><br />&ldquo;...to maintain a service of the highest quality in order to promote the game of rugby football by inspiring; by educating; and by entertaining visitors from all sections of the community and all nations. The collection and associated documentation will be preserved for use by future generations.&rdquo;
