Counselling with a heart


From time to time, everyone experiences events which are stressful. In particular when stress makes us feel out of control, it can get increasingly difficult to see the wood for the trees. Counselling can give you a space to see things in perspective and help you to find balance.
I offer warmth, empathy and a non-judgmental attitude which are the key components of my approach in counselling. I can enable you to explore your presenting issues. It is a collaborative process.
My approach is non-directive and client centred whereby you are in charge of your session which in itself can be empowering. Thus, my role as a counsellor is to accompany you on that journey of self discovery, I am here to walk with you at your own pace.
I truly believe in individual potential for change and growth. It is with this in mind that I will encourage you to come up with your own solutions to your behavioural and/or emotional difficulties. In the process , counselling can help you to find the strength to overcome the difficulties and the feelings that accompany them.
