Francine has been working with our son for just over a year now. He has Asperger's Syndrome. We enlisted her to help primarily with his Literacy and during that time we have found her to be fantastically patient, with a wealth of knowledge and experience in both the curriculum and SEN.
She has been able to fit in with his variations, ensuring the session fits with his strengths on the day, thereby building his confidence.
This level of empathy has ensured that she has built a good and productive rapport with him.
Not only has he learned a great deal, but so have we, as Francine has helped us to further understand his perspective and how that fits - or doesn't - with the norms of school life.
