Secret meadows

Enjoy an inspired country holiday at Secret Meadows, away from it all. Ideal for family holidays or romantic breaks for couples, Secret Meadows luxury camping provides stylish, off-grid creature comforts combined with the magic of staying close to Nature.
Situated at White House Farm, in rural Suffolk, there are 115-acres of meadows and woodland, unchanged for generations. At night, you can enjoy the delights of a camp fire, admire the beautiful displays of stars on clear evenings and by day experience a slow pace of life in inspiring surroundings.

Secret Meadows is close to the market towns of Woodbridge and Framlingham, and within easy reach of the Suffolk coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. We offer a range of on-site activities, tempting 'Specials' to choose from such as breakfast hampers, barbeque packages, bicycle hire and relaxing massage, and a farm pantry.

    15-Dec-2013 Report

Cool Camping says "Suffolk is fast becoming something of the UK's glamping capital. The cluster of luxury glampsites scattered around England's eastern rump leave urban exiles spoilt for choice. And it isn't hard to see why. The Broads, the coast, the seafood – Suffolk scores high on the (un)Official Cool Camping Desirability Scale. Coupled with its proximity to the capital, the sighs of blissful contentment are almost palpable emanating down the A12.
With such a wealth of posh pitches to choose from, it takes something pretty special to turn the head of the blase hordes of urbane Londoners – something exactly like Secret Meadows.
Sadly 'secret' in all but name now (can you imagine having these meadows to yourself?!), Secret Meadows comprises 5 über luxurious lodge-style tents and a gorgeous Gypsy caravan spread across the idyllic 115 acre White House Farm.
Sure we could tell you all about their Gold level award from Green Tourism. Or about the bespoke glamping packages on offer (guided walk followed by afternoon tea, anyone?). There's no doubting Secret Meadows is an extremely slick operation. But that doesn't really capture the spirit of the place. No souless, sanitised setup this, Secret Meadows oozes an effortless rustic charm.
The site is also positively abuzz with wildlife – with everything from dragonflies to barn owls drawn to the vibrant wildflower meadows. It comes as no surprise that you're actually staying within the designated County Wildlife Site.
With the (sometimes) sunny Suffolk coast just waiting to be explored (and the all important village boozer just a leisurely stroll down the farm path), Secret Meadows' location is hard to beat. This is one secret that's well and truly out... Oh well..."
