Volunteering for Aldeburgh Music

There are many ways to get involved with the work of Aldeburgh Music, from becoming a Friend to volunteering as an usher.
Established by HRH Princess Margaret of Hesse and the Rhine in 1959, the Hesse Student Scheme enables young people with a love of music the opportunity to attend the Aldeburgh Festival at no cost. Participants assist in the day-to-day running of the Festival in exchange for tickets and accommodation. For more information or for details of how to apply please click here.
A team of volunteer ushers help to run concerts at Snape Maltings Concert Hall and at Aldeburgh Music concerts at other venues. Ushers check tickets, sell programmes and show people to their seats, attending the concert for free in return. For more details about becoming an usher, please call or email us.
