Our Suffolk vineyard is particularly well suited to growing award winning Bacchus and Pinot Noir grape varieties. Wine from the 2009, 2010 and 2012 vintages won gold medals in the UK Vineyard Association 'Wine of the Year' awards. Alongside our vineyard is our traditional orchard, growing eight heritage varieties of English apples. These are pressed into outstanding juices. We believe the best results are achieved by thoroughness and attention to detail. Our pedigree Red Poll cattle (winners of the breed's National Herd Competition 2013) and Suffolk sheep are respected and cared for as individuals, growing slowly on traditional grass-based diets. The meat is hung in whole sides for the optimum time (beef-min 21 days/lamb 10 days) to develop its flavour and ensure exceptional tenderness.
