A fantastic modern Indian restaurant and take away in Bury St Edmunds offering both modern interpretation of Indian cuisine but all the old classics too.
Stylish and sleek interior, friendly staff and excellent prices.
Worth the trip for the Hariali Salmon (Fresh salmon & green apple marinated in yoghurt & green Indian masala spice cooked in the tandoor), Mango Prawn Puri and vegetarian sample platter Subz de Thali ( Platter of mushroom bhaji, paneer `khurchan`, tarka daal, Bombay aloo, finished with an aubergine borta served with saffron rice, baby naan & raita).
Eating in a light airy room with delightful waiters and a modern eclectic menu such as Abafado de Camarao; a fiery hot. saffron infused grilled king prawn from the Bay of Bengal, served in a Goan style red hot chilli sauce with palm vinegar. We cannot sing the praises of Orissa enough.
