What could be more delightful than a traditional afternoon tea in a quintessential Suffolk country Hall nstead of a rowdy hen night? Originally the brainchild of Duchess of Bedford (Lady-in-Waiting to Queen Victoria), afternoon tea was devised as a solution to what the Duchess believed was an intolerable length of time between luncheon and evening dinner.
Hintlesham Hall Afternoon Tea is served in the luxurious lounges or al fresco when the weather allows. The sumptuous spread includes a selection of tea, tisanes and coffee, assorted finger sandwiches, scones with Chantilly cream and preserves and a selection of cakes and tartlets.
