Hobbledown is a unique farm park adventure based on a mystical and magical fantasy tale, written in book form by A J Kecojevic.

Based on a 50-acre site the all-weather attraction is home to more than 200 animals and a multitude of indoor and outdoor adventure play equipment.

In Hobbledown Village you will be able to explore the Hobblers' houses and towers, check out the underground tunnels, test your skills on the Low Ropes Adventure or brave the Aerial Walkways. For our bigger visitors there is the Aerial Adventure Course that will challenge the bravest of you!

The Hobbledown Barn houses two themed play areas with an indoor maze.

The Hoblings Play Village has mazes and role play areas as well as an Interactive Sand Play Zone.

And not forgetting The Mining Village, one of the main reasons the Hobblers came to Hobbledown - to search out the Crystallite stones.

We had an amazing morning at Hobbledown with a 3 and 5 year old. It's worth getting there as early as possible to make the most of what really is an "enchanted world full of excitement and play".

Our girls had great fun searching for the hidden Crystallites in the Crystallite Mine and playing in the caves before our eldest scaled the houses and towers in Hobbledown Village, while our 3 year old said hello to the Shetland ponies.

Hobbledown houses more than the usual selection of animals you find at a petting farm, with meerkat and otter enclosures for example providing lots of space and a super environment for both the animals and visitors. Feeding time was very popular!

After face painting we had a great time on the jumping pillows and relaxing on the huge beanbags provided for just that. Next was a visit to the birds of prey in the Field of Confusion, followed by some yummy cakes and coffee in the Hobblings Play Village while the girls played in one of the many sandpits.

For days when the weather is not so nice, there is a huge Play Barn with themed indoor play frames and a good selection of healthy foods for all ages.

    A really brilliant day out.
