Frimley Lodge Park is a 24 hectare site that was saved from development in the mid 1980's.<br /><br />The park won a design award on completion and has been much admired for its beauty and tranquillity.<br /><br />Its unspoilt natural beauty and character continues to attract large numbers of visitors with opportunities for families with, woodland and lots of open space, picnic areas, two children's playgrounds, a trim trail, miniature railway and meadows. There are also football, cricket pitches and a pitch and putt course available to hire. The Basingstoke canal runs along the eastern boundary with a towpath and lots of space, woodland, cafeteria, miniature railway and pitch &amp; putt course.<br /><br />Frimley Lodge Park is a very attractive venue for everyone looking for quiet recreation or organised activity.<br /><br />Pistachios in the Park refurbished the Cafe in March 2011.
