Our talk on Thursday 26th November is on the role of occupational therapy in helping children and young people with autism. The talk is by Angela Wheeler, a team leader in the Specialist Paediatric Occupational Therapist (OT) service. This may be of interest to educational professionals working with children with ASDs as well as parents.

Angela will provide an introduction to what OT is and some of the evidence about at the moment; what can challenge a child's functioning and acheivement of daily occupations; incorporating OT into everyday life - practical daily strategies and a chance for parents and carers to share their own strategiesand ask questions.
