After School Club at Spitalfields City Farm

disabled access

"Spitalfields City Farm was originally set up by volunteers in 1978 and we still rely on volunteers today to help maintain the farm and gardens, look after the animals and assist us delivering projects. In short, without volunteers there would be no farm".

The volunteers are, indeed, always there like busy bees, cleaning, feeding and taking care of the donkeys, goats, sheep, guinea pigs, ducks, poultry... and answering all curious kid's questions.

They have regular activities throughout the week, like the "Grow Food" sessions on Tuesdays (for women only) and Wednesdays; the "After School Club" on Wednesdays and Thursdays; "Young Farmer's Club" on Saturdays and the "Community Gardening Sessions" on Sundays.

The Tree House, though, is the kid's favourite.
