disabled access

One of Hackneys best loved traditional river
parks, with a rich history, this former country
house estate, Clissold Park, was first opened
to the public in 1889.
In 2010 Clissold park was awarded a Green Flag
award.

The Green Flag Award Scheme recognises and
rewards the best green spaces in the country.
Hackney currently has twelve Green Flags:
one of the highest totals in London.
Facilities include children's play area,
basketball and tennis courts, conservation
and woodland areas including a deer enclosure,
and organic nature garden and butterfly tunnel
(Tuesday and Thursday, 12.30pm to 2.30pm).
They offer a summer paddling pool that opens
Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday,
Sunday and bank holidays, 11am to 7pm.

We do strongly suggest you ring Clissold Park
before you set off on your family day out,
just to make sure they are open and to confirm
admission prices.

Times and prices are subject to change. Contact venue before setting out.
