The primary focus of our Pregnancy Yoga classes is to support and enhance your pre-natal experience. Our aim is to encourage a sense of relaxation and confidence all the way through your pregnancy up to, and including, labour. The benefits of Pregnancy Yoga include:

•strengthening and toning the muscles
• encouraging deep relaxation
• encouraging effective breathing techniques for labour
• strengthening the bond between mother and baby
• helping to alleviate ailments commonly experienced during pregnancy

Our Pregnancy Yoga classes are suitable for anyone over 12 weeks pregnant.
No previous experience of yoga is necessary. Our students are encouraged to work at their own level and with awareness of their body and baby.
Our Pregnancy Yoga classes are also a great place to meet other mums-to-be and we're delighted that many lasting friendships have been made at our classes.

    I had a few one to one pregnancy yoga sessions with Sarah and she mentioned her yoga class, which I started going to as soon as I was on maternity leave. The classes gave me a very supportive, calm, positive outlook for the pregnancy and birth and it was great being in a class where everyone was in the same boat physically and mentally - I'm still in touch with one of the girls I met there and the babies are now over 1.

    I thoroughly enjoyed attending Sarah Burgess' pregnancy yoga class, it was something that I looked forward to each week. The atmosphere in the class was very calm and welcoming. I learnt loads of really useful poses that helped me throughout the pregnancy and during labour. Sarah is a great teacher and I would heartily recommend the class.

    I attended the weekly pregnancy yoga classes with Sarah Burgess from my second trimester until I was 40 weeks into my pregnancy. The class was the highlight of my week! The studio is spacious and bright and Sarah is an excellent instructor. I had a very relaxing pregnancy without aches and pains as a result. I highly recommend it!
