Wig Wednesday 25 May 2016
One big day when the UK will unite to raise vital funds for children and young people with cancer by getting their wig on!
The charity is looking for people to be sponsored to sport wacky wigs in schools, colleges and workplaces and nominate their friends or colleagues to do the same.
Funds raised from Wig Wednesday will go towards CLIC Sargent's work providing vital support when a child or young person is given the devastating news they have cancer.
Why getting your wig on makes a difference
Every day, 10 children and young people in the UK hear the shocking news they have cancer. CLIC Sargent is the UK's leading cancer charity for children, young people and their families, providing clinical, practical and emotional support to help them cope with cancer and get the most out of life.
Being diagnosed with cancer is a frightening experience. The gruelling, often life-saving cancer treatment can last up to three years and frequently leads to children and young people losing their hair.
