THE ORIGINAL BRITISH BABY SIGNING PROGRAMME ESTABLISHED LOCALLY FOR OVER 7 YEARS.
* BOOKINGS NOW BEING TAKEN FOR TERM STARTING IN APRIL 2013*
Sing & Sign classes are a wonderful way of helping your child communicate before they can speak whilst boosting language development. We teach basic signs through a mixture of traditional nursery rhymes & original songs. Our classes are fun & relaxed, with instruments & props, followed by drinks & playtime. 1 hour classes. Free trial sessions.
Signing will:
* Build confidence in communication
* Reduce frustration..for both you & baby!
* Stimulate early intellectual development
* Enchance early vocabulary
* Understand baby's needs, thoughts & ideas
. For babies from around 6-24 months.
I look forward to showing you how much fun baby signing can be & how it really can aid communication before speech, whilst boosting language development.
Times and prices are subject to change. Contact venue before setting out.

I did both stage one and stage two with my son. He's now nearly three and still sings all the songs! He especially loves 'I went to visit a farm one day'. We loved the classes I was sceptical when I joined but when he started signing 'more' and 'all finished', especially at mealtimes, I was gobsmacked! It was so helpful him being able to tell me what he wanted! Once he started talking his speech progressed very quickly and is now has a far wider vocabulary than his same-age peers I'd say. His first spoken words were the words he signed most often - hardly a coincidence!
He still watches the DVDs now as he loves singing the songs and Jessie cat ('sleeping bunnies' is his current fave). I plan to bring my new daughter (she's a week old at typing) to class when she's old enough. I think my son may try and gatecrash when he finds out! We loved Pippa's classes and would recommend them to anyone :-D
