The Emperors New Clothes

disabled access

Wizard Theatre are delighted to be returning to the Cockpit for their annual winter production.

Two swindlers spin a yarn, the Emperor allows himself to be taken in, and it isn't long before everyone is stitched up. Only at the monthly Grand Parade on 1st April is the barefaced-cheek of it all revealed.
Hans Christian Anderson's much loved story about a hapless Emperor and a suit of clothes so fine that only intelligent people can see them is one of the greatest - and funniest - cautionary tales of all time.

Saturday 29th October - 1:00pm

We have a comfy bar/cafe where you can relax before and after the show.

The Cockpit is not designed for very small children so has swing doors and steps to the auditorium. Children must be supervised at all times.

Saturday is Church Street's busy market day so expect a vibrant buzz.

Times and prices are subject to change. Contact venue before setting out.
