Bumps and Buggies Exercise Class, come and join local mums for an active outdoor exercise class with baby. The session is a fun way to exercise and meet new mums! Sara uses a variety of exercises ideas and resistance training to maximise your workout. The session can be tailored for level of fitness.... Everyone is welcome and catered for..... This class is fabulous. I have done quite a few different types of exercise class in my time, and in my opinion this is one of the best in terms of variety, enjoyment and effectiveness. If you're fit, you can work as hard as you like, and if you've just had your baby or are newer to exercise, Sara will give you lower impact options to ease you in gently. I started coming when my son was 8 weeks old - he's now 9 months - and I can really feel the difference in my fitness levels and my body shape, in spite of all the maternity leave cake and Christmas over-indulgence! Now I'm back at work, I'm shuffling my schedule to make sure that I can make it to my Tuesday class, even though there is a gym at work and they run free fitness classes there, because this is better, and way more fun. Sara is absolutely lovely - really encouraging and welcoming - and the ladies in the group are super-friendly; I often find gyms and fitness classes intimidating and cliquey, but that couldn't be further from the truth with this one. Previously I've exercised because I have to and because I like the results, not because I've ever really enjoyed it, but with this class I'm finally starting to understand the enjoyment that other people always seem to derive from exercise itself!! Thank you, Sara, for finally showing me that exercise CAN be fun and for helping me get my mojo back!
PS I also go to a Buggyfit class at Westonbirt, which is also good but in my opinion this one is better - there's a better mix of cardio and strength work and I feel I've had a better workout afterwards.
