Gentle exercises and deep breathing are combined in aqua natal yoga to create a wonderful sense of wellbeing for you and your baby.
Our classes are held in a warm pool which is safe and relaxing and an ideal way to prepare if you are considering a water birth.
Aqua natal yoga is a unique series of exercises which takes advantage of the natural buoyancy of water and creates the deeply relaxing and harmonising effects of yoga. There is no need to have practised yoga before and you do not need to know how to swim.
Some of the benefits of aqua natal yoga are:
- it promotes bonding between you and your baby
- it helps relieve common ailments experienced during pregnancy such as SPD and PGP
- the deep relaxation attained during these classes helps to release any anxiety
- coming to the classes is a wonderful way of taking some time out for yourself during your pregnancy
