The Elgar Birthplace Museum gives a fascinating insight into the life and music of Sir Edward Elgar, one of England's greatest composers, in the 19th century cottage where he was born in 1857.
Tour the picturesque Birthplace Cottage and take a picture with Elgar at the bottom of the cottage garden. Explore the Jubilee Family Garden and try your hand at composing your own tune on the outdoor musical instruments. Watch the free Introductory Video in the modern Elgar Visitor Centre before seeing the exhibitions to Elgar's life and sampling a cup of coffee in the new cafe-bar area.
Free parking and free audio guide hire. We also have indoor and outdoor trails for children of all ages.
