    22-May-2015 Report

I was suffering with depression, and had been taking antidepressants for 6 months before I was referred to CBT and was put in touch with Ken at Equanimity. When I arrived at my first session I was very low and sceptic of CBT, yet Ken managed to get me start talking and a trust started to form. Ken reminds you that depression is something that a lot of people go through, you're not bonkers, it's ok to feel how you do. He teaches you how to come through the illness, and life skills for the future. Recently I had my 13th and final sesison of CBT and subsequently was signed off by my doctor. I cannot recommend CBT and in particular Ken more, in a relatively small amount of time he has got me back to my normal self, if not more self aware than before. You are just a friend who needs some advice to get better in Ken's room, he has a unique ability that you never feel like a patient.
