Lambeth Perinatal Mental Health and Wellbeing: Mapping the Pathway
How you are feeling throughout your pregnancy and until your baby is a year old is as important as your physical health. One in every five women experience problems in how they are feeling emotionally at this time (the perinatal period).
We would like to arrange a focus group to hear from you:
• How you would like to be asked about how you are feeling by the health and social practitioners you meet
• How you would like to be directed/referred to services to help you stay well
• And where you would like to receive these services in Lambeth?
We would like to invite you to take part in this process, to share your knowledge and what it means to you personally and for your family. You may be currently pregnant or already a mother or father (with a child up to four years old). We are interested in your views and that of your partner, sister and friends.
Please contact: Anna Gaudion

We've now set a date to meet to talk over these issues. If anyone would like to join Anna and I, we are due to meet on Monday 27th June at the Royal Festival Hall at 4pm.

Do comment on this thread if you are able to join us. Or, if you prefer, email me on

Look forward to meeting some of you and having an interesting and productive discussion on an important issue.
